We don’t just invite you to take action – we invite you to reconnect. With nature as your guide, you’ll rediscover what it means to live in balance, nurture community, and grow into an eco-conscious leader.
This isn’t just a project, it’s an environment that transforms you from within, through daily rhythms in harmony with the land, shared living, mindful presence, and hands-on ecological work. In the UNESCO-protected landscapes of Gran Canaria, you’ll experience solidarity, self-reflection, and a chance to make a real difference for yourself, your community, and the planet.
This journey is not for everyone. It’s designed for young people (20–30) who are committed to:
Building a life in harmony with nature.
Growing in mental resilience and eco-awareness.
Embracing a plant-based, sustainable lifestyle.
Ready to fully engage in community living and teamwork.

Apply via the European Solidarity Corps Youth Portalor contact us using the form below.
We’ll guide you through the process, answer your questions, and help you prepare.
Spaces are limited and participation is selective – we’re looking for motivated changemakers.
You’ll immerse yourself in hands-on projects:
Restoring nature through clean-ups, biodiversity actions, and permaculture.
Learning eco-construction techniques and creative upcycling.
Practicing mindfulness and eco-leadership as part of a supportive team.
Cooking and eating exclusively plant-based (vegetarian)– aligned with a future-focused, healthy lifestyle.

A unique opportunity for personal growth and a deeper sense of purpose.
Hands-on experience in sustainability, teamwork, and eco-leadership.
Connections with like-minded peers from across Europe.
Participation in a recognized European Solidarity Corps (ESC) program, pending final funding approval.
Upon ESC approval, covered costs will include travel, accommodation, vegetarian meals, insurance, and participation. Private participation options are also available.
You’ll join young people from across Europe to restore nature, build with natural materials, and embrace a plant-based lifestyle. Each day starts with mindfulness and reflection (MBCT, KJZ/KYS) to strengthen community spirit and personal growth.
You’ll live and work in a remote eco-site in Arteara, Gran Canaria, sharing a house and meals with others. There’s a public bus to the south 3–4 times a day (20 minutes) or a nearly 4-hour walk. Life here is communal and fully vegetarian, with everyone contributing to daily tasks like cooking, cleaning, and gardening.
The weekly schedule runs from Monday to Friday. Days begin at 8:30 with breakfast, followed by activities from 10:00 to 16:00. You’ll rotate between eco-building, permaculture, clean-ups, creative storytelling, and community tasks. Alcohol and drug use are strictly prohibited, and each day a small team prepares meals and ensures site readiness.
One action, one community, one planet at a time.
At Eco Resilience, transformation comes from your active participation, self-reliance, and a willingness to embrace the simplicity of off-grid living. We expect you to bring your own ideas and energy, contributing to the community with creativity and problem-solving skills. Living together in shared spaces means you’ll prepare meals, help maintain the environment, and be open to working as part of a team.
We ask for clear communication about any personal limitations or support needs, so we can ensure a safe and supportive environment for everyone. Although we offer additional guidance where needed, this journey is for those ready to take responsibility for their growth. Be prepared to step away from constant internet distractions and immerse yourself in the rhythms of nature.
In return, you’ll experience deep connection with yourself, others, and the natural world. You’ll gain hands-on skills in permaculture, eco-building, and community living, all while discovering resilience, mindfulness, and a sense of purpose in one of Europe’s most stunning landscapes.
